My Favorite Clean Beauty
Did you know that our skin is our largest organ?
Up to 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our system.
With that in mind, it is so important that we are mindful of what we put on our skin. The dirty truth is that the FDA does not regulate the ingredients in skincare and makeup, so we must be conscious consumers and do our research (I’ve got you!).
The ingredients in our makeup and skincare are absorbed directly into our bodies, so we want the most nontoxic products, that are still effective. This means: no fragrance, no parabens, no phthalates, no talc, or aluminum.
Given that skincare, and maybe even makeup for you, is something we use every single day, I want to dive deeper into these products and recommend some of my favorite clean beauty items. Many of you requested this, so here we go!
Clean Skincare that’s super effective.
For skincare, I look for products made with plants, sustainable, cruelty free, and effective!
Osea Malibu products are made from organic seaweed and cold-pressed essential oils, are gluten free, vegan, and cruelty free. Some of my favorite Osea products are the Undaria Algae Body Oil (super fresh and moisturizing, but not greasy and great for stretch marks, too), Ocean Cleansing Milk, Black Algae Flash Mask, and the eye gel serum.
Cocokind products are organic, made with organic virgin coconut oil, cruelty-free, made without artificial fragrances, plus they're very affordable. I also love that they prioritize transparency and include sustainability facts and formula facts right on their label!
