It is so important to take care of ourselves in our busy lives of work, families, events, meetings, and more. This is not the place to be indifferent, say we don’t have time or energy, because this matters. YOU MATTER!
We should honor what both feels good and what will benefit our health and wellness in the long term as well, and make it a priority to incorporate self love into our everyday lives. This will create a life we love that deeply nurtures us.
Self love is a continuous journey that requires a promise to ourselves of perseverance and practice. It is different for each and every one of us because of the individual ways we each feel loved. So, here are some ideas to practice self love to get you started:
Forgive yourself
Do a 5 minute meditation
Take a walk in the park
Create and honor boundaries
Say “no” or say “yes” (based on what is true for you and what you need)
